a year

It's been over a year since I last blogged. I'm not sure how to recap the past year in a blog post. I will do my best to sum it up and give you updates on what's to come.

After coming back to the U.S. last May I went to Camp Tapawingo and was a counselor for the summer. It was a great summer full of great conversations, worshipping the Lord, sailing + doing other fun activities, laughing, and much more.

After camp, my family went on a short vacation to the mountains before I headed off to UNC - Chapel Hill. My first year of college was full of highs and lows, good times and bad times. I learned a lot, spent a lot of time thinking, met a lot of new people, and spent a lot of time in the library. It was definitely an adjustment for me to go from living on my own in Nigeria to being at UNC. After having completed a year, I am excited for next year. I'm excited because I will have a better handle on what life is like at UNC, I'm excited to live with my roommate Meggie, and I'm excited to start pursuing and getting involved with things that interest me.

BUT, before I start my sophomore year at UNC, I AM GOING TO CANADA! I am so excited and seem to get more excited each day. God has provided this incredible opportunity for me and I can't wait to see what He is going to do in Toronto this summer. I will be in Toronto from June 2 - July 28th. I am leaving Charlotte on May 26th to spend a week in New Jersey/Pennsylvania with family and then I will be off to Canada.

Please pray for me!
+Pray for good time with family these next two or so weeks
+Pray that I would be trusting God with everything that comes
+Pray as the Lord leads

more updates to come later! i'm hoping to be consistent with blogging
