lately

I have been home about a week now although it seems like a month. I'm not quite sure why it feels like we have been home for so long. Maybe because I haven't been too busy this past week. When I'm busy, time goes by much faster. I am thankful for a restful break. I don't want to get as busy as I was last semester. These pictures sum up what I have been up to lately.
Last Friday Emily, Hannah, Danielle, and I saw Les Miserables. It was better than I expected and held my attention. I am not used to watching many musicals so I thought I might get tired of the singing but I got used to it. The message behind the movie is just so good. Jean Valjean repents and becomes an entirely different person who blesses the lives of others. He changes Cosette's life entirely. It was a good night not only because of the movie but also because we were all together for the first time since before the summer.

I started knitting again over Christmas break and have managed to keep it up since I've been home. My scarf is getting pretty long but I am nowhere near the end. I'm making it an infinity scarf so it's going to be pretty long. Knitting is actually quite relaxing.
Emily set up her slackline in the backyard and I have been going out for about 15-30 minutes each day. It's pretty addicting. I am able to go about 15 feet.
Hannah did a boss job her first time ever on a slackline.

On a side note, thinking about using this for my graduation slideshow.

Also, this is way cooler than T. Swift's music video.
