The Big Apple

On December 23 I had the opportunity to go to New York City with some good friends. Back in September I thought about how cool it would be if we could all meet up in NYC around Christmas time. We managed to pull it together and on Sunday, December 23 there was a reunion in New York. I rode the train in with my CIT counselor and then met up with four other CIT friends. We wandered around Manhattan all day. We visited Rockefeller Center, Anthropologie, Central Park, and a few other places.

Central Park is neat because you can be near a creek and trees but also see skyscrapers around you. I like New York City because it is full of things to do. I don't think I would want to live there but it is fun to visit with friends.
